New Recipes to Try!
I LOVE this Cabbage salad. It has soooo much crunch and the dressing is yummy!
CABBAGE SALAD WITH RAMEN NOODLES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 small head cabbage - chopped
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 sm. carrots, grated
Topping
2 pkg. uncooked Ramen noodles (broken)
1/2 c. sunflower seeds
1 pkg. slivered almonds
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. butter
Brown noodles, sunflower seeds, nuts in butter; set aside.
DRESSING
1.2 c. salad oil
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
Mix until well blended. Add dressing cabbage salad 15 to 20 minutes before serving. Will get soggy if not eaten soon after.
Watermelon Beet Juice
----------------------------
I know this recipe sounds odd however it is really tasty and healthy for you. It's a good way to try beets. Since I created it...I don't have measurement values. Adjust to taste.
Blender filled with chopped, seeded watermelon
1 med size raw Beet, peeled and cut in 1/2
2 cups of ice
2 tbsp raw cane sugar, agave nectar, or honey(or adjust to taste)
Put all ingredients in blender and blend well. It should be kind of slushy. My family loves this recipe. Try it and see if you like it!!!
